Getting married and want creative, timeless and unique wedding images? Lets talk!

Schedule a in person meeting or a video chat, and I will walk you through my philosophy and the way I provide my clients with a relaxed and stress free wedding photography experience.

QUESTIONS? ANSWERS.

How do you describe your style?

I like to define my style as natural, connected and timeless. I want your images to stand the test of time, and what better way to do that then by photographing you in a relaxed and happy state while staying away from dated and trendy posing styles and edits… Just say no to embarrassing Instagram filters from 2009!

How did you become a wedding photographer?

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was 15, and got my start in weddings when a couple of friends weren’t having a photographer at their celebration in Kansas in 2010. It was the perfect opportunity to fall in love with the only job I can see myself in! I’ve been full time for over five years now!

How far in advance do we have to book our photographer?

My typical clients are booking 6-18 months prior to the wedding date, but I am open to last minute events and book weddings up to two years in advance. Reach out as soon as your know your date! Theres only so many weekends in a year!

Do you shoot elopements?

Oh yes, and love them! Elopement coverage (with up to 10 witnesses) begins at $750 and includes digital files and printing rights.

Okay, we’ve decided you’re our photographer! How do we finalize things?

Send me an email with your date, if I’m available we can set up a time to get to know one another and make sure we are the right fit. Please let me know if a video chat fits easier into your schedule! We will discuss details, sign a contract online, send a retainer. All booked. Simple and straightforward.

Whats the difference between you and other photographers?

My clients often tell me photography was the one thing they knew they didn’t have to worry about leading up to their day. I strive to photograph my couples in a way that is comfortable and doesn’t take away from the joy. I acknowledge that having your photo taken is kinda totally weird! I want to keep that process as easy as possible while ensuring you get to experience your wedding day while capturing the irreplaceable moments and party that comes along with it. I do that by being as prepared, adaptable, and as easy-going as possible. Don’t worry though, I can put on my authoritative voice when wedding parties are getting too rowdy. It’s all in the name of getting you to your party!

Where can we read reviews on your wedding photography services?

Check out the testimonials page. Where you can read about past clients experiences and check out a third-party website where you can read reviews on wedding vendors.

We don’t live in the NYC area, do you travel?

I travel personally, professionally, and for educational workshops as often as possible. I’ve photographed couples across the country as well as international lovers in Italy, Scotland, Cuba, London and Paris. Let me know if you are having a destination wedding! I always have an up to date passport and would love to know the details!

How do we set up our engagement shoot? What do we wear?

Let’s compare calendars! Most engagements sessions are between 1-1.5 hours of relaxed getting to know each other fun photo time. I love how it prepares my couples for a better wedding day session! Check out a few styling boards I put together. Let me know what kind of vibe you’d like your session to have. Let’s brainstorm locations!

Who will our photographer be?

Me, of course! I personally serve a limited amount of clients per year and am not a wedding factory. All of the images in my portfolio were photographed by me. Barring any unforeseen circumstances and/or emergencies I will be the primary photographer on your wedding day!

What should we budget for wedding photography?

Collections begin at $3000 and include digital files for personal prints and social media sharing. Most clients are choosing to invest between $4500 and $6000 in their collections, which include heirloom albums, engagement sessions, additional photographers and more event coverage.

Each client’s needs, budgets and priorities are different. I would love to discuss those options with you and find what the best fit for your day is!

Who owns the copyright to the images?

While I will retain the copyright [basically this legally means I stay the official “creator/artist”] of the images from your wedding day, the contract gives personal print and media permissions to my clients for any non-commercial usage like sharing on Instagram/Facebook and making prints for family. If you have concerns about privacy, please let me know.

Do you take family formals?

Yes of course! I will work with you to create a list before the wedding to ensure all of the most important people are captured. I understand the intricacies of today’s modern families and understand if situations aren’t always “typical.” Be sure to fill me in on any sensitive family situations.

Can I see a full wedding gallery?

Certainly! Send me an email describing your day and I’ll send you a similar gallery to view minus any sensitive images for my clients protection!

When will I see my images? How many will there be?

I love sharing a sneak peek or two following your session. You can expect your full set of images to you within 6 weeks of your session or wedding day!

The average delivery is about 75 images/hour but this number will always increase or decrease with the variables of each day!

Do you photograph anything other than weddings?

I take on a small number of additional commissions each year including private baptisms, lifestyle family sessions for past weddings clients, and creative portraits and head shots for actors, business people and the general babes of the world. Send me an email if you’d like to inquire about a session outside of the scope of weddings! hello@lisahibbert.com
