I couldn’t wait to share this gorgeousness! Long Beach Island is a New Jersey staple, and can you believe I have never been there before, no not even to visit the beach and work on my tan. Now I know I’ve been missing out, always choosing beaching like Sandy Hook and Point Pleasant for my trips. But Dawn knew where she was going to get married, and Devin had proposed at the base of the lighthouse, so what place could have been better?

What a great place to get married! After a “discussion” with a crazy officiant, I finally convinced her to allow them to get married with the lighthouse as the backdrop (aka what Dawn wanted). I will fight for my clients, no one is going to mess up their wedding day and make them get married in front of a random sculpture head or with a fence as a background! No way! I had so much fun shooting this wedding, everyone looked gorgeous and after some nerves were calmed (perhaps a ’88 bottle of Cristal helped,) the wedding went on and everyone enjoyed their day.
