Onteora Mountain House Catskills NY Wedding Photographer, Charissa and Zak

Weddings

Charissa and Zak were introduced to me by Jeanne Stark at Hudson Valley Ceremonies, one of the most awesome, efficient and laid back wedding planners I know. This woman gets things done and does it in the kindest way possible. I love working with her and her crew. Always an amazing time with clients who just get it. This time we were with Charissa and Zak at their Onteora Mountain House wedding in Boiceville NY, part of the Catskill Mountains. What a beautiful space. I can say its probably one of my absolute favorite places I have shot, it has so many different spaces for beautiful photos, and thats not always the case when it rains on a wedding day in the mountains. But this couple rocked it out. We were hopeful until the very last moments that we would be able to hold their ceremony outside, but the aggressive rainstorm had another idea. But all was well, because Onteora Mountain House has an amazing reception room that we were able to use last minute for the ceremony (unlike a lot of venue basements that have to suffice on a rainy day). I love having great clients who are up for anything and making the best of a rainy wedding day. Thank you Jeanne and Hudson Valley Ceremonies. What a great day! Zak, a talented musician sang several songs and put together a band for the day of his friends and colleagues. All of the Jewish traditions were so perfect in the space, and really spoke to how these two met on their Birth Right trip in Isreal. Such a beautiful day and I am so honored I could be there to document the magic.
